HORSES AND HEALING
ABOUT US
Little Snodworth Farm is situated in Langho, a small village nestled within the Ribble Valley. Our elevated positioning means we’re fortunate to have spectacular views of the surrounding area.
We bought the farm in 2017 and have continued its operation as a livery yard. The time spent renovating and working at the farm has really brought home just what a beautiful place it is and how wonderful it would be to share it and our animals with others.
With this in mind, we are currently working on a number of projects to do just that.
Initially, we brought mindfulness to the outdoors and in the presence of our beautiful horses and donkeys.
We believe horses help us to heal. They are strong yet sensitive. They sense our feelings possibly better than we do and through interacting with them people can explore their own feelings at their own pace.
Time spent with a horse can be an empowering process and enable us to build trust, learn patience and compassion having time to reflect on ourselves and develop a greater understanding of who we are.
Our aim is to continue building something rather special on our farm. A place where people can hopefully feel happier and more positive about their lives.
We’re working with a number of partners, operating from our beautifully designed spaces, delivering therapeutic practises to both people and animals.
Please see ‘Our Partners’ page for more information.
We’re also building programmes to provide young people, groups and private clients with bespoke sessions that cover their needs. These sessions can include activities such as mindful walking, time out observing the herd, feeding, grooming, caring and possibly leading a horse.

We acquired the farm in November 2017 and with much time and investment we’ve created something really special.
Yellow Hill Equestrian Construction designed and installed us an additional 9 bespoke amazing stables so now we have 32 stables.
We also have a lovely warm indoor shower, a well-lit outdoor arena and 47 acres of beautiful land overlooking the Ribble Valley in which our horses roam. Weather dependant we’re 365 day turnout.
Our aim was to create and maintain a beautiful space where animals and humans can enjoy time together!
